ONGC MRPL International Kite Festival-2010
This
is the 4th International kite festival
conducted in Mangalore by TEAM MANGALORE. On 16th
and 17th of Jan 2010 at Panambur beach
the sky was decorated by spectacular kites by more than
20 kite fliers from 5 countries viz: England, France,
Netherlands and Germany along with many kite
enthusiastic Mangaloreans. The giant kites of AWITA team
enthralled the people, The
kite’s eye view was captured by Nicholas chorier, famous
aerial photographer.
This time people got the opportunity to
enjoy the giant aerofoil kites, 2
line and 4 line stunt kite show.
ONGC MRPL sponsored this magnificent
International level festival, were people of all
category enjoyed. Festival was visited by more than
70,000 people. The good wind, nice beach, friendly
people is making Mangalore a kite enthusiast’s favorite
destination in the world. The kite fliers who added
colours to the sky were, Karl Longbottom, Sara
Longbottom, Bob, Raymond De Graf,
Marten van heinen, Axel kostros, Nocolas Grez,
Jean Barut Peirre, Philippe Royer, Dunoyer Peirre,
Nicolas chorier, members of TEAM MANGALORE and many
more…..
